Global Korean Teens.
Welcome to the 2023 OKFriends Teens Camp Online participants.
Overseas Korean teens living abroad and Korean teens living in their home country Korea are called Global Koreans.
The expression ‘Global Koreans’ contains the meaning of ‘living in the global stage aiming for global values’.
Now, the world is connected as one and aims for a greater future together that transcends national, ethnic, and religious boundaries and prepare for the future.
Furthermore, as a proud Global Korean, I believe that we should create a grand vision that can embrace the world together.
‘OKFriends Teens Camp Online’ is a project designed to help Korean teens around the world communicate with each other as members of the global Korean community, become model citizens of the country of residence and grow into proud global Koreans.
Variety of programs are prepared for the participants to learn about their motherland, Korea, the sense of roots as a Korean people, and the knowledge they will need as a global citizen.
Global Korean teens.
No matter where you are in the world, I hope you can imagine, learn and communicate happily through the ‘OKFriends Teens Camp Online’.
We will support the dreams and passion of global Korean teens who will grow into exemplary global citizens in their respective countries of residence and lead the future Korean community.

Nice to meet you through the 2023 OKFriends Teens Camp Online
The COVID-19 pandemic, which has made the world difficult for the past few years, is also over, and a new era is opening.
Through the pandemic, the whole world has become closer online, and now many parts are communicating online through networks.
In this situation, I believe that the meaning of ‘OKFriends Teens Camp Online’ is even more special.
It is because it is a new alternative for global Korean teens to connect with their motherland, Korea, learn the roots of the Korean people, and communicate with each other as a global Korean community, no matter where they are in the world.
Through the 2023 OKFriends Teens Camp Online, teens will learn about Korea, establish their identity, and have a sense of pride as a Korean and a vision as a global citizen.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the staffs involved in the Overseas Koreans Foundation, including Kim, Sunggon, the President & CEO of Overseas Koreans Foundation, for preparing this meaningful project.
And I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has worked hard to develop content for teens.
